General
WorkComp360™ is an interactive business intelligence platform developed by PCRB/DCRB to help users explore workers’ compensation data through dynamic dashboards.
Access is currently available to PCRB/DCRB member carriers. A statewide-only version is planned for non-members in Phase II.
WorkComp360™ works best in the latest versions of Chrome, Edge, or Firefox.
The data underlying the WorkComp360™ dashboard is the same as the data used in each state's annual rate revision filing. It is based on Unit Statistical (Unit Stat) data reported by carriers and submitted to PCRB/DCRB as part of the regulatory process.
Data is updated annually, in line with PCRB/DCRB rate filings.
Navigation & Features
Yes, most charts include an export option (look for the three-dot menu in the top-right corner of each visualization). While PowerPoint export is technically available, it does not currently function as intended, and we do not recommend using it at this time. We're actively working with our software vendor, Pyramid, to resolve the issue. For now, we recommend using the Excel export option for downloading data. It’s the most reliable format if you need to work with the numbers outside the dashboard. PDF and image exports are also available for sharing visuals.
Filters include state, policy year, report level, company, industry group, classification, deductible type, and more. These filters appear in the panel on the left side of the dashboard.
To gain deeper insights, users can access secondary filters —additional filtering options that allow more refined analysis (e.g., Premium Range, Maximum Loss Limitation, and Part/Nature/Cause of injury).
By default, some of these filters are disabled to improve performance. However, you can manually enable them by clicking the filter icon in the upper right corner of each filter.
To use the Premium Range filter, follow these steps:
Technical & Troubleshooting
If the dashboard is loading slowly, it may be due to high traffic—too many users accessing it at the same time can impact performance. You can try refreshing the page or coming back after a short wait. If the issue persists, contact Central Support at centralsupport@pcrb.com.
Take a screenshot and email our team at centralsupport@pcrb.com with a brief description of the issue.
Data & Interpretation
Frequency by payroll uses exposures (per $1M payroll); frequency by premium is based on modified premium at carrier rate. Both provide different lenses on claim activity.
The Implied LCM is calculated as manual premium at carrier rate divided by manual premium at bureau rate—useful for understanding pricing practices.
Users can set thresholds for large claims (e.g., $500K, $1M). These visuals help highlight high-severity outliers.
Yes. Most charts allow you to view both your company’s results and statewide benchmarks side-by-side.
If you see "Restricted" in the dashboard, it means the result includes fewer than 3 claims or policies. This restriction is in place to protect data privacy and ensure that individual records cannot be identified.
