Approval of Classification Procedural Change – Creation of Code 822, Telecommuting Clerical Employees

The Pennsylvania Insurance Department has approved a new telecommuter class code, 822, Telecommuting Clerical Employees, for employees that work from home, away from any location of their employer, doing office clerical work. This new code will be available on policies with an effective date on or after April 1, 2023. For more information regarding the approval, please refer to PCRB Circular No. 1785 and Filing No. 334.
