DUTIES:
- Administers and interprets the rules of the PA and DE Experience Rating Plans
- Responsible for the daily review and monthly processing of the Delaware Workplace Safety Program as well as provide support to the Delaware Insurance Department as needed
- Assume responsibility for the efficient, affective, and accurate performance of all assigned functions
- Performs the reviewing, saving, and processing of Pennsylvania and Delaware Construction Credit applications
- Performs a broad variety of services and functions such as determining rating dates, assisting our constituents in explaining why a modification increased, why an employer went from experience rating to merit rating or is no longer qualified for either a merit or experience rating
- Represent the DCRB’s in a courteous and professional manner
- Answer questions and solve problems for callers by listening to question and providing responsive answers
- Keep informed of DCRB and Industry changes effecting Experience Rating/Merit Rating
- Timely and consistent attendance
SPECIAL SKILLS OR QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
- College degree preferred. Insurance course work a plus.
- Strong organizational, communication, written and decision
- Making skills with the ability to work independently and adapt to various situations
- Employee must possess the ability to manage multiple assignments and prioritize tasks accordingly
- PC proficient; experience in Microsoft Office Suite including Microsoft Word, Excel, and ACCESS.
- Communicate effectively with all levels of DCRB personnel and outside contacts.
