DUTIES:
- Collaborate directly with key stakeholders and lead a team in the design of comprehensive marketing and promotional plans for informational, educational, product, and brand campaigns
- Working with stakeholders to brainstorm new and innovative growth strategies to enhance customer experience
- Define objectives, relevant strategies, and tactics, and drive the execution and marketing operations for each marketing and promotional plan
- Define and continually evaluate key performance indicators (KPIs); utilize this data to direct customer research to increase website traffic, website utilization/usability, customer conversion on products and services, on-site search success, and campaign effectiveness, for targeted customer segments
- Serve as a trusted communications advisor to senior business leaders and their management teams
- Partner with business teams to understand designated business line strategies and define strategic communications plans in support of business goals and priorities
- Collaborates with internal stakeholders to fully understand product and communication needs
- Establish relationships with members of the media, pitch relevant stories, and monitor media coverage
- Collaborate and/or lead the content development through managing employees, external vendor partners and other stakeholders to develop compelling content (e.g., webpages, blogs, white papers, case studies, videos, webinars, infographics, memes, etc.) to optimize communication channels and campaign effectiveness
- Evaluate the end-to-end digital and direct engagement customer experience across multiple channels and customer touchpoints and collaborate and/or lead the changes necessary to improve the key performance indicators associated with customer experience
- Create tailored communications materials for a variety of audiences, including but not limited to press releases, bylined articles, filings, bulletins, webinars.
- Manage the posting of the website content, planned redesign of the company website properties or sections of the website properties and oversee social media outlets content (ie: LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram)
- Ensure the PCRB meets all regulatory and statutory commitments for notification and communication distribution
- Support internal communications activities for designated business lines focused on informing our people and empowering them to reach personal and business goals
- Ensure that brand values and visual identity are incorporated into communications deliverables
- Regularly monitor and report on the results of communications plans
- Activities may include creating, presenting and stake-holding communications plans, tactics, timelines; setting up and publishing content to the company intranet using content management tools and setting up/distributing messages using email/digital campaign manager tools; and managing the end-to-end review and approval cycle with multiple sources of feedback
- Carries out administrative aspects of communications, including virtual/onsite event planning and support, distribution lists, meeting invitations, etc.
- Identifies story ideas for newsletter and intranet posting
- Keeps communications fresh, creative, and engaging; regularly develops and explores new ideas and strategies, such as social forums and platforms
SPECIAL SKILLS OR QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
- Bachelors degree in Marketing, Communications, English or relevant field
- 7+ years public relations and communications experience
- Strategic approach with a focus on the ‘bigger picture’ – taking separate projects and developing a narrative that connects them
- Outstanding writing, storytelling and editing skills
- Proven track record developing content for a variety of channels (print, email, web, social media.)
- Proven success in formulating and communicating a compelling vision to department staff and senior management, that advances company success and achieves increasing levels of customer product and service adoption or conversion
- Strong organizational, communication, written and analytical skills with the ability to work independently and adapt to various situations
- Employee must possess the ability to manage multiple assignments and prioritize tasks accordingly
- PC proficient; knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel is required
- Communicate effectively with all levels of personnel and outside contacts
- Strong stakeholder management skills and ability to facilitate collaboration and teamwork between colleagues across the organization
- Ability to write quickly; distilling complex concepts into key messages in a fast-paced environment is critical
- Track record or building collaborative business relationships through the use of strong oral, written, and interpersonal communications that engages all levels of staff and management and stakeholder constituents including senior level industry partners.
